The first time I heard about manifestation was on TV, where someone was explaining the law of attraction and how to manifest goals in a documentary named “The Secret.” “This is interesting,” I thought to myself. Unorthodoxly, to believe that ‘seeing is believing’, manifestation is believing in something in order to attract it in life.
After that, I started reading books and started watching documentaries in order to attract my wishes and desires. The first step towards abundance is to let go of the scarcity mindset and change your thoughts and patterns in order to remove layers of mental blocks.
Be clear about the goals that you want to attract and be as detailed about them as possible. If you would like to manifest a house then be specific – how big does the house need to be? In what area? What is the color of the house? Write it down in your diary and visualize how you will feel once you’ve achieved your goal and see the magic happen.
Ask yourself, what will happen if my dream came true? What kind of feeling it will invoke if I attract my goals? Happiness, love, joy, or peace? Once you dissect and identify the real goal, you will be able to assimilate that quality without the object, and once you achieve it you will deliberately attract the same vibes with the object you desired in the first place.
At first, start with noticing what you consciously focus on. For this to be successful, you need to focus on what’s going on with your life. When you’re working toward your goals, it is natural for obstacles and challenges to arise. But focus on what’s going right rather than what’s wrong, and you can easily move forward without stopping.
For all the hype, there’s one hurdle when it comes to manifestation that is belief alone cannot change — belief does not override personal action. Manifestation requires constant action to bend reality in your favor. That doesn’t mean that a positive mindset is unimportant, as it’s the first step towards the law of attraction. Just as the saying goes, “what you sow is what you reap.”
You can put forth as much effort as you can from your side to move closer to your goal and let the universe do the rest.
Whether be it to go on a daily walk to reach a 12K run goal or reach out, via email, to prospective employers if you want a hike in your career, actionable goals that are realistic are easy to fulfill and achieve.
Good things take time. But some people are happier in short term and unhappy in the long term. They work at a slow pace daily and complain when they’re not an overnight success. Common personal goals such as a hike in a career, paying debt, or losing weight, are not achieved instantly. Stay disciplined while celebrating the milestones leading to the final goal to stay engaged and motivated as you work through the process of manifestation.
Gratitude is one of the most wonderful emotions that you can experience and it is greatly influential when coming to manifestation. The law of attraction works on the things we focus on, and if it works on the things we focus on then we better focus on things we’re grateful for.
Every time we engage in low vibrational activities, we’re lowering our vibration and inevitably hindering our chances of bringing our dreams and desires into our reality. Some of the activities I suggest that assist to raise your vibration are yoga, meditation, exercise, a plant-based diet, surrounding yourself with positivity, journaling, and practicing gratitude.
Hold on to your desires but be unattached to the particularities of the outcome. Don’t limit yourself to disappointment. If things are not in your life right now, that doesn’t mean it will stay like that forever. Be aware of the fact that you need to be careful being attached to the how, where, when, and who details. Don’t restrict the universe by hanging on to the small details, let the universe flow easily.
Feeling that you have what you want is believing that you already have it. Let your belief run wild to the place of visualization where you have whatever you want.
Doing so will help you generate more excitement and will bring you more positivity and encouragement to continue taking action toward your dreams.
